Besides being KMBC's quintessential weather man and pitch man (before the word "meteorologist" became a household word) Fred Broski hosted Bowling For Dollars on KMBC. As I recall, the first season was taped live at a local bowling alley. The show must have been successful because KMBC installed a bowling alley in the studio (Wonder if it was still there when they moved?) I see an image of a Fred Broski Open Bowling mug... but its tagged for KCMO. Did Fred move to from KMBC to KCMO after I stopped paying attention?

That many years in the field? I guess I missed a few seasons! I do remember a guest on the Etcetra afternoon talk show bowling off camera while the hosts were trying to wrap up the show.
Remember any Etcetra personnel? It was an excellent local production as I recall. I suppose i should just wiki that.

I don't. I seem to recall BFD being on at like 3 in the afternoon and I only ever caught between going in and out of the house to goof around outside.
